Halua Pisang (Malay Cuisine) - Banana Fritter Wrap with Filo Pastry

Banana fritter is a traditional dessert among the Malaysia community, majority of' Pisang Goreng' (banana fritter) originates from the northern states of peninsular. Many type, size and taste of banana but this dessert taste crunchy and sweet, in our restaurant banana fritter is call 'Halua Pisang' because we do it in different style and different taste. This dessert can serve hot.

Recipe (4pax)

Ingredients : 4nos banana, 2pcs filo pastry, 30g fried julienne ginger, 100g Cashewnut, 1nos egg and Oil to deep-fried

Method : Banana skin of fried julienne ginger, roll with filo pastry, put egg and roll one more time on Cashewnut (chop) when oil hot can deep-fried until brown color, serve hot.
